Scale the batch, follow the method, and keep timers close.

## Choose the yield you want

Adjust the recipe’s yield before cooking. A recipe making 24 cookies can scale to 30: each ingredient is multiplied by 30 ÷ 24, or 1.25. The yield counts what the recipe makes; it does not always mean the number of people.

## Use cooking mode

Open cooking mode from a recipe to focus on the method. Follow steps and use ingredient checkmarks as you work. Adjust cooking text size and the keep-awake preference in Settings → Voice & cooking.

## Timers and questions

Start a step’s timer when you begin that action. Ask the assistant a question about the current recipe when you need help. Notification permission lets Saffron alert you about local timers.

## Scaling needs judgment

Oven temperatures and timer durations do not multiply with ingredient amounts. Larger batches may need more trays or separate batches. Use the original recipe’s doneness cues and check the result.
